Additional library facilities
Robert E. and Holly D. Miller Information Commons, with a capacity of 60,000 print volumes, was designed to support intensive online resources, consistent with Champlains focus on technology and currency integrates the resources of a traditional library with a wide range of technologies including extensive online databases and full-text journals. The MIC also houses computer facilities, meeting rooms, study spaces, and the writing lab, providing access to a variety of campus academic resources.
Museums
Museums or special academic buildings on campus
A new Center for Communication & Creative Media, a 75,000 square-foot facility with game and audio labs, studio spaces, and a traditional and digital photo lab, was completed in the fall of 2015. The S.D. Ireland Family Center for Global Business & Technology enhances the Colleges ability to put students to work on real business challenges for Vermont companies & non-profits. Students can interact with these clients and Champlain faculty members in new high-tech classrooms and multimedia suites.
