Hofstra University offers eight master's degrees in over 100 programs of study: Master of Arts (MA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Health Administration (MHA), Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science (MS), and Master of Science in Education (MSEd). An Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is also available. Three doctoral degrees are available in seven areas of study: Doctor of Education (EdD), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).  Advanced Certificates (Adv. Certs.) are offered in a variety of areas, including business, education, counseling, speech-language pathology, and public health.  Two professional diplomas (PDs) are available, as well as a postdoctoral respecialization in clinical and/or school psychology. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University is among only 10 percent of business schools to earn accreditation in both business and accounting from AACSB International. Tuition/Financial Aid At Hofstra University, financial aid opportunities are available in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, fellowships, and on-campus employment. Graduate students also have several types of job opportunities available, including positions as graduate assistants, resident directors, and tutors. Graduate assistantships are part-time positions in on-campus administrative offices or student services areas. Students in these positions may receive tuition remission and stipends or hourly wages; eligible students may also receive work-study credit.
