Yeshiva University, founded in 1886, is a private, comprehensive university. In an environment that supports the totality of Jewish life, undergraduates are guided toward philosophical and ethical insights and the development of a lifelong commitment to learning and community involvement. Students pursue liberal arts, sciences and preprofessional and business curricula together with Jewish studies programs tailored to individual interests. Its facilities are located at three centers in Manhattan and one in the Bronx.
