The bilingual Freie Schule Ann-Sophie Berlin is an independently managed private school. It uses the Berlin state curriculum and complies with all statutory requirements – but it is also a school with a difference, because it allows plenty of scope for children to develop not only their academic skills but their personalities. At Freien Schule Anne-Sophie subjects are not only taught in traditional classes, but it has learn teams that are made up of all classes grade 7-10.Freie Schule Anne-Sophie is bilingual primary and secondary school with an international orientation. The promotion of interdisciplinary competences such as a creative and competent use of digital media is as important for the school as a respectful dealing with each other. The school's aim is that every child leaves Freie Schule Anne-Sophie as a winner. An important prerequisite for this is the promotion of each learning partner based on his/her individual possibilities. The Freie Schule Anne-Sophie is not a traditional school. The central focus is not so much on imparting knowledge as on providing children with comprehensive individual support and a modern, learning-friendly environment. FSAS helps them to acquire social and academic skills both individually and in groups, in a relaxed but goal-oriented learning situation.
